My 5 favorite Drake rap songs are a bunch of various Drake songs that are catchy as well as having something to do with my personal life or a specific time period going on in my life. So here I go, don’t mind me lol :

Cameras - I love this song, I love the feel. I love how I it goes along with the whole Take Care vibe, it matches the theme perfectly & is just a great song. Even though the song is new, it instantly caught my ear and became a fast favorite. As well the song content spoke to me, it’s topic telling kind of a downhill relationship story and how Drake’s trying to explain himself and his side of the everything, while also comedically trying to make the person he wrote this song to, realize herself and what she’s doing (example. “how you mean, how you mean? thought you knew about the team? just mail me my ring back.. I need that” ) this topic basically explained my brief relation with a past girl of mine.. P.S. im not including “good ones go” in this listing, i consider that as a completely different song lol

Miss Me - I used to love this song back then, still do. I love the beat, i love his whole “just keep rapping” flow lol & i love the hook. the song depicts him just going on about his lifestyle and everything he’s up to, then the chorus comes in and he ask the simple question, no matter what i’m doing, no matter where i am “I just hope that you Miss Me a little when I’m gone.. I know things have changed, I know I used to be around more.. ” which reminds me of a long distant relationship i once had & i caught myself frequently thinking, wondering if she missed me.

The Calm - The name says it all.. Calm. Just how Drake just names all his problems he was dealing with in his life, at that time, all at once in this song. This song helped me through some tough times, Calmed me down and made me feel better. It made feel that “Everything will be alright..” and just to get everything off my chest & keep going.

Going In For Life - I would have to completely agree with you on this track. How Drake just raps showing his skill and expertise. This song shows how he is underestimated as pure rapper and how he doesn’t need to rap about selling drugs, gangs or anything stereotypical rap consist of. And just the love of music and his mentality when he steps on the mic.. As if he’s Going In For Life.

Come Winter - Once again I love the feel of this song, his whole story. Just how he explains the physical and mental changes winter brings, more specifically to his city Toronto. He shed alot of insight in this song and i honestly feel like him when this song plays. Then the beat drops and the whole spring vibe comes in and it went from a snowey, relationship filled Winter to a warmer, single spring. Taking mostly about one girl then to talking about a whole bunch. Just shows Drake, being from Toronto, is highly influenced by the seasons. And this song expresses his whole feeling about it and a love story wrapped all around it. Once again it reminds me of past girls..

These songs are in no specific order, i love them all. I can relate to all, whether its Take Care, So Far Gone or Room For Improvement. I hope a lot of people see this and read, it shows my view of Drake and how I interpretate his songs.
